I think that’s wishful thinking. WHU have too much quality (Anderson eg) and Arnautovic will be back.

Their problem is inconsistency but even so I was surprised they lost to the Clarets today after a decent win at Southampton.

He’s only played 1 full game against us for Spurs. Back in 2013-14 he was a late sub in both games playing less than 20 minutes in total.

Unsure if he played against City for any of his loan clubs?

Tottenham still massive favourites; I’m resigned to a defeat but I was also expecting to lose our last 2 away games. <doh>

Harry Kane played for Millwall at Cardiff City Stadium on 31st March 2012 - Result 0 - 0 Draw.
Darius Henderson replaced Kane on 59 minutes.
Aron Gunnarsson is the only player from the City side that day still with the club

Kane also came on as substitute for Leicester City in the match at Cardiff on 12th March 2013 replacing Richie Wellens in the 63rd minute.
Result that day was Cardiff 1 Leicester 1 with Rudy Gestede equalising for City in the 90th minute. Leicester's goal scored by Michael Keane
Matthew Connolly and Aron Gunnarsson are still with Cardiff today, as is Craig Bellamy who replaced Nooney on 46 minutes.
Playing for Leicester that day were Bluebirds Kasper Schmeichel and Danny Drinkwater and Andy King of Wales

Did anyone else watch that Southampton/Citeh game yesterday? First half was a good contest because Soton equalised 1-1 and Man City were rocked. Then they got 2 more to go in 3-1 and the game was over.

Second half was a complete borefest. Kompany and Company passed the ball between each other and the keeper in a sickening display of anti-football that was against everything you want to see in a spectator game. Southampton didn't have a clue what to do about it and the game petered out from the start of the second half let alone the last 10 minutes.

Give me the "never know what you're gonna get" game to spend my money on because that was a load of ****. (sorry for the language this festive season. <ok>)

I did. Man City should have won by a lot more. Reminded me at times of our 2 non contests with Man City in 2018.

Man City could have won by a lot more - that's the point.

The only consolation for the Saint's fans was the fact they didn't because the second half was a non event - I wouldn't want to pay money to watch that.

Arsenal had a little wobble when kamara got a goal back (thought he was persona non grata after the penalty debacle a couple days ago) but have romped home.

A point or more for us would be huge.
