Watched the game and that was a super performance by Hudderfield yesteday, but Wolves were diabolical. Just hope that wasn't just a one off crap day for them and it continues on Friday. If they do sort themselves out then it'll be a tough game, but nothing's going to be easy either way.

I don't know if it was Wolves being so bad or Huddersfield have found their mojo - if it's the latter then we've got a bigger problem than I thought because they were very, very good.

You just can’t see all those half chances going begging again BUT surely NW has seen if he watched yesterday how to combat Wolves given they play the same way home and away. But have we got the midfield capabilities of Huddersfield or a striker who can hold the ball up to allow the midfield runners in? No.

Huddersfield didn't let them play. Wolves' midfield didn't have an answer to Mooy, Hogg and Billing yesterday.

In Gunnar we have the "Hogg" character and maybe Arter can be a shorter version of Billing <laugh> - that leaves Camarasa to take on the Mooy role - a big ask. That is unless you play a fourth man (Ralls) in there as well.

If we let them move the ball around in midfield we'll be in trouble. They're quick on the break through midfield and can hurt you out of nothing - the trick is to cut off the flow.

Up front for us is still a big question mark. Few options should give us a clue how best to beat their big defenders like Coady and Boly. Keep the bloody ball on the floor and pass through them - lumping up to Pato expecting the second ball chance could mean them coming straight back at us with pace. Ideal game for Reid, but who to drop?

Still, looking forward to this one after last year. Perhaps if we get a penalty let alone two of them, someone can put it in the net this time.

Best keep Hoilett and Madine out of the way then. Second one a no brainer but we need a fit NML to get Hoilett away from the 18.

Burnley manager bellowing throughout the game v Newcastle, surely that’s not necessary! Putting me off my kipper sandwich! 1-2 by the way! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Saturday 22nd December, JM will be out of Man Utd job. Could you bear to see his sour face talking tosh week in, week out? Excuses and ramblings, and big headed twat talk! We could get a result if he is still there when we play them! :emoticon-0103-cool:

    They just did 2-0.

All very tight down there - at least after the weekend, we're still off the trap door for now.

What a north London derby that was.

How can Ramsey not be offered a worthwhile contract?

Always feel Pickford appears to be too short to be a great keeper, but generally he’s sound! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Jose must think he's tall enough.

Manchester United are ready to spend £70m on Everton's England international Jordan Pickford, 24, if they lose Spaniard David de Gea, 28, to Paris St-Germain. (Sunday Mirror)

They’d be better off looking at Etheridge who is becoming a top class keeper. Unlucky not to get a clean sheet v Wolves but suspect he’ll be kept busy tomorrow night.

No real damage done tonight thanks to Bournemouth & BHA.

Here’s hoping Spurs, Liverpool & Leicester can do the business tomorrow night. First 2 should win but Fulham will see this as a chance for points.

After Spurs got their third Southampton got back into the game and gave Spurs a hard time culminating in Charlie Austin grabbing a goal in added time.

They will not be a pushover Saturday especially with a likely dead cat bounce from their new manager.

We will need to up our game substantially from last night.

As I see it after 15 games, bottom three on 9 points each look certainties to go down, feel a lot safer on 11 points! Easy game against fellow relegation candidates Southampton coming up next! :emoticon-0103-cool:
