Man City looked below par yesterday. Nerves kicking in? Hope they are not expecting us to do them a favour.
Just to clarify, Brighton were excellent against Wolves when compared to their performance against us. Bit of a spanking for Man Utd today.
Winky and ****y have been up all night. On a different note, I see Chelsea are unhappy with Burnley tactics. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48018227
A supreme performance by Man C tonight. Liverpool fans must be gutted Wolves decide tonight to bother playing. Just one of those goals would have seen off Brighton.
Two fantastic headed goals (should have been three) from Liverpool ace Mane tonight. Two old fashioned John Charles type goals..so exciting! Danny Ward scored a similar type header against Arsenal earlier this season.
I didn't expect them to get even that after their first half performance, but either they turned it on second half or Newcastle just went on the beach. It may be a real long shot but I can't see Brighton getting any more points from their last 2 games against Arsenal and Man City. If and I mean "IF" we can get a result at home to Palace next week, we'd need to go to Old Trafford for a win - that could be some game!
But, it's why we support our clubs. If there was no prospect of disappointment, there would be no prospect of joy. Its the hope that kills, but to have no hope...........
