Cup rather than league but hell of a game at Wembley today.

Wolves 2.0 up. Watford equalise with a last minute penalty and are now 3.2 up in extra time.

Wolves look shot but who knows?

    Much better game than yesterday.

A win against Liverpool tomorrow no just puts us level.:emoticon-0138-think
Sounded as if Wolves were battering them, just couldn't score.

That was a bonkers scoreline today at Wolves.

Brighton won't get another point from their last 4 games - we need 4 to stay up - you heard it here first. <ok>

Really thought Wolves would pulverise them. That point could be gold for BHA.

Fulham next week who have won 2 on the spin without conceding.

Brighton were excellent yesterday. Just shows you can’t count the chickens before they hatched. Wolves did batter them and Brighton were in full defence mode and it paid off for them.

I suppose it depends upon what you mean by "excellent". If your definition is to have a plan, execute it and come away with exactly what you wanted, they were excellent. It was training ground attack v defence stuff and defence won.

Lucky? I suppose they were in that Wolves had all the possession and Brighton gave the ball away like they gave it to us last week, but had no idea how to break them down. I doubt Spurs will be as generous on Tuesday night.

Not a pretty game, but if we'd done that up there and got a point rather than losing 2-0 giving them so much space, we'd be saying we were excellent on the day.

I remember that Wolves game was straight after we'd lost at home to Everton - IMO, our worst game of the season tactically by a mile.

" Parking the bus " is now an acceptable strategy, and quite a few teams employ it, especially when they feel incapable of doing anything more positive.
Getting points is the 'b all' and 'end all'.
Entertaining the mug public just doesn't enter the equation, and as long as football fans' believe that Premier League football is the 'b all and end all', Clubs' will continue to produce garbage product.

I don't subscribe to it, and would never part with good money to watch it.
