Living abroad I only get to 1 or 2 City games a season so the PL at least had us on TV fairly regularly.. however I've got used to the radio experience now and quite enjoy saturday afternoons in the company of Sir Richard Burns BA Hons and Sir Peter of Swan YTS.. Second season in PL was depressing, we couldn't buy a point and with Bullard not giving a **** or being injured there were a lot of lows - Pompey away, Burnley home etc which almost physically hurt.. This season has been refreshing of late.. we couldn't buy an away win last season, Norwich away on the radio I went ballistic when Koren & Cairney finally confined our away day jinx to the trash.. we've had some good ones..
You know, there are shades of grey in this world. Stoke are a regular sized club with a regular history, don't really have a problem with them being in the Premiership, though I'd rather see someone like Nottm Forest or Sheff Wednesday there before them.
Likewise, but I still wouldn't say Stoke were much bigger than us. I meant for a Premier League club they were small, in general you would say they were 'average'.
I completely agree! I think that the 'big' games get so much media coverage and are so overhyped by the media that the actual game becomes a huge let down. I've fallen asleep a few times watching premier league games this season. In fact the only good premier league game I've seen is Tottenham v Man City on the opening day. Hugely exiting and but for a world class performance from Joe Hart, Tottenham would have flattened them. Give me Palace scunny!
