Like I say, it wasn't a WUM. I had heard that he had been spotted in Cardiff, and asked if anyone else had heard it (did not know it was an old rumour). That doesn't sound like a WUM thread to me. If I wanted to post a WUM thread (which I have no intention of doing) I could post a thread similar to i.e. Do you think you will match Derby County's record points haul this season. I was very keen on us signing kuyt back in June but I'd rather we signed an actual winger now we have cornelius. I'd still be happy if we did sign him though as he's quality.
I think Kuyt is quality but for the money involved I'd rather see a defensive midfielder to help out the defence.

At last a sensible comment from VG. Yes, there have been links with M'bia but nothing substantiated. We'll wait and see how this turns out. Still pefer Capoue though but he appears to be waiting for Atletico Madrid or another big Spanish club to bid.
