More on Capoue. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...ff-city-targeting-toulouse-midfielder-5264049 He looks useful, likes a tackle and also knows where the net is.
Looks as if Parish is off to Brizzle. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...cardiff-city-goalkeeper-elliot-parish-5311278
He played on Saturday for them at Forest Green, The wurzel fans were quite impressed by him. Just looked at the article, why have they got a picture of Joe Lewis on their
Good luck to the lad. He was unfortunate not to get much of a look in with us. Classic bloomer by WoL. That is not Parrish's picture in the article, it is Joe Lewis. They just can't get things right can they?
Ha, they have changed the photo now. Must be following this site. You would think they would double check before publishing. Didn't they say we had paid £6.75m for Fraizer Campbell the other week?
WoL's update on Capoue. Seems to be going the right way. Hope he doesn't get a call or text from "Ambitionless" Ince before he decides. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-have-10m-bid-5317624
Hmm, no bid made and the player isn't keen on Cardiff. Don't think there is much mileage in this one if the article is anything to go by.
Toulouse FC have revealed that they have received a €12 million offer from Cardiff for star midfielder Etienne Capoue. The France international has become one of the most sought-after players in the summer transfer window, with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid both showing interest in his services. However, while the two sides were not prepared to meet Toulouse’s asking price, Cardiff City have surprisingly moved to pole position. Le Tefece president Olivier Sadran has confirmed on Thursday that the Bluebirds have submitted an official offer worth €12 million, while inviting other interested sides to match the bid. “The clubs that are interested should now know that we will not accept a proposal that is lower than that offered by Cardiff,” Sadran explained to L’Equipe. With other interested sides not even close to matching the asking price, everything suggests Cardiff are going to win the race for the midfielder’s signature, that is unless he rejects a move to Wales. Capoue, 25, has amassed a total of 173 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 13 goals in the process, while he has earned 6 France caps up to date. http://www.soccernews.com/cardiff-offer-e12m-for-capoue/124346/
From Twitter (I know) This chap has been better than ankles. @TonyRivers1927 There could be quite a productive day down the city today. Highly thought of youngster and one or two others possibly incoming..
Tony does have his sources and as you say he has an excellent ITK rate, Ankles bless him gets left with a WOL / ECHO column

Guys see previous comments and links on transfer/gossip thread at top of board. Its a lot of money but from the clip he looks a good, young player and already a French international. As I said before I just hope the Newcastle/Sunderland/Arsenal French connections don't nick him first.
Unrealistic but i would love to see varane on loan from Madrid cracking player or grosskreutz from Dortmund he can play basically anywhere comfortably so would be a good signing in my honest opinion but this capoue is looking like a good player and would be a fab signing
