Nor me. They won't haemorrhage as many goals as they did last season now they have a competent manager and N'Golo Kante but where are their goals coming from? A Man United-like season IMO. ****ing dull but they'll scrape a Euro spot.
New manager, who has a very good record (remains to be seen whether that will follow through to the PL in fairness). Some good signings, Kante and Batshuayi (sp?) And all our previously good form players have been on fire in Pre season, Hazard, Costa and Oscar (for what thats worth) Thats mainly where the optimism is coming from. Last seasons performance was an aberration, purely because the exact same team, with the exact same manager, walked the league a few months before. Its not like, in the case of Liverpool who finished 2nd in 2014, and then 6th or whatever in 2015, the cause of which can be pinpointed on losing the best striker on the planet and signing terrible replacements.
Was thinking more the last 3 games actually. Plus both picked up their form at the back end of last season. Costa improved immensely when Jose left. And Hazard's performance against Spurs was great.
You don't earn money by selling your talent for 800k then buying it back for over a hundred times that amount, that's for sure.
