I Think with Bellingham as the 10 you get your best players pushing forward more often than you do with him back in midfield.

I guess it’s down to which position you want someone else coming in to them team - CM or LW.

But I appreciate your point of the difficulty finding someone to partner Rice. Mainoo looked more likely a few weeks ago than now. Wonder if it’s worth re-looking at Dier?

Regarding the England team, this is who I’d take and who I think our strongest XI is. I don’t really rate Maguire but it’s tough to throw Brainthwaite straight in there, despite how highly-rated he is. There’s four additional spaces in a squad of 26 so I’d take Toney, Maddison, Guéhi and not bothered who third-choice keeper is. You just know Southgate will shoehorn Henderson in there though, somehow.

Actually, **** Chilwell. I’d take Tyrick Mitchell instead.
