I think this is entirely LVG's decision. It's a huge gamble and he's saying, "I'm the boss."

I hope it doesn't bite him in the arse. Actually, I do. I hope it bites him really, really hard and they have a **** start to the season and are then playing catch up.

I've gone 1-1.... A howler from united's stand in keeper and a Toby own goal. I like Toby, but he chose Spuds over us whatever else went on and it just adds to the 'leaving Saints jinx'

In a position with the united game where I don't want any side to win it but I don't mind if either team loses.
