Could be complete codswallop but my mate works at Ladbrokes and says they have received the first weekend of premier league fixtures for next season already. According to him a couple are:
Saints vs watford
Stoke vs Bournemouth.

Obviously could be rubbish but thought I would pass it on.

Fixtures released on Wednesday 17 June. If Ladbrokes have received them and they're genuine that's not a bad start, but I doubt it very much.

I've just looked at next season's League table and we're in 13th position :emoticon-0121-angry

Er no. I am at a wedding on the 8th August.... I have requested an away game to start... Again :)

Much like MotD's vote for goal of the season won by Wilshere, any vote done on social media rather than a panel of judges is always going to be won by one of the big guns

Or maybe it was actually the best (or at least easily in the top three) goals scored this season? It was an absolutely immense goal - you don't see many like that. I would have given it to that goal or Zamora's, hands down.

Don't know why they allowed that goal in, while the best save award missed Joe Hart's save (which would likely have won) from earlier on the day that vote happened, as they said it was too late to get into the selection.

Ferdinand has retired from professional football following the death of his wife. Surely the right thing to do...his children don't need to be uprooted by him searching for another club at this stage of his life. Wish him all the best.

Wise decision, I think. The media appear to have left him alone to live quietly, and I'd expect he's lost all motivation for the present. He can begin again in another sphere if and when he feels positive.

I never though I'd say that my heart goes our to Rio Ferdinand, but it certainly does. I wish him and his kids the very best. Show those kids the love Rio.
