The more I see Fellaini he just seems like a bulkier Peter Crouch...

Remember last season when all and sundry in punditry appeared to be saying what an overrated player he was. Yet previously, for Everton he'd been brilliant. The general opinion being that Felliani isn't a ManU type player.

Personally, I've thought all along that if you play him as Everton played him, he's an extremely effective player indeed. Certainly good enough for ManU.

Yes, I saw that, but to be fair, Kelv hardly did anything wrong yesterday. And his distribution was very good on the whole. If he carries on giving performances like that he must surely be in danger of being called up for England?

Oh yes, he was good again, but that bit made me laugh

Yeah I think effective is the key word here and he seems to be very effective for Man Utd, I feel you've got to play a pretty ugly way to get the most out of him.

Found it they are safe from a £50m fine as long as they stay in the prem.

Part of me wonders in the FL would rather QPR stayed in the PL, so as to avoid this resurfacing.

If QPR went down, but the FL ultimately did nothing, then their whole concept of FFP falls apart. But at the same time, doing something could be both expensive and time consuming - with potential egg on the FL's face it QPR manage to avoid having to pay.

And it's not as if they'd be missing out on the fine by QPR staying up, because the FL have already said that they'd give the fine to charity.
