Someone on Saintsweb said a couple of weeks ago that he saw JRod outside training when he had cause to visit Staplewood.

Well tbf, JayRod has been training for months and months. He's now actually playing footy again, however light. And the article reckons he could turn out for the U21s soon. The person I know who lives in Staplewood who, if you saw it, asked him straight out if he had intentions of leaving [to which JR said he had absolutely no intentions of doing so], told me he was in some sort of training gear. Not ordinary clothes anyway.

Mind you, you walk down the High St and several of the people will be dressed in some training gear and they've never seen a gym ever, let alone been in one recently.

Why would Jay tell a random if he was leaving? He is obviously going to say he is staying. In the training part, last thing I heard is he is back doing light training ( walking, jogging etc). But no training with a ball or any hard work. I can't see him featuring this season.

Have I missed something on that Telegraph table? As far as I can see they're predicting a final goal difference for us of +32. It's currently +21 so that seems reasonable.

I report only what I've been told. Whilst the chap I know isn't a great friend [we used to be in the same Cracknore Hard Sailing Club], I would hardly refer to him as a random. For starters, I believe he's on first name terms with most of the Squad and the U21s, he sees them so often. He lives very near the entrance so they wave, say Hi, do things, etc...
But I assure you Beefy that the authentic information pedestal is all yours. I wouldn't presume to suggest that it was anything other than fatuous nonsense..!

Do you always have to act like this? It is kind of sad. You are ment to be a mod but yet see it as a right to have digs at me. Instead of acting the way you did why not simply say he is on first term names with a lot of players? I would have accepted that. But no you have to have a dig and try and wind me up. If this was a person responding to you like this you would have PMed them.

You responding to me this way has been happening a lot lately ( other people agree with me). It is making me question whether to post anymore.

I'm not trying to wind you up. I'm trying to make a joke of it. Chill Beef. <cheers>

You can always PM me.

I am chilled. I just find the way you respond to me now and again sad. If it is a joke why not do a  or another joke smiley. You ask others to.

I did do one. The eyes up and grinning is one.

On the subject of responses, I often find that anything i write about player news is dismissed by you, and yet my friend gets a lot of fairly reliable info. He only tells me stuff if I ask him when I see him. I don't see him often and even then I don't tend to ask. I have mentioned him before.

Shall we call a truce and start again..? I don't want to be the moderator all the time. <hug>

It's now got us only conceding four goals over the next 8 games...which sounds ridiculous the other way, but then looking at the form table from the last 11 and we've conceded just 6.

Our stats are outstanding....21 goals conceded in 30 games = 0.7 goals/game. So 4 goals over next 8 games is possible. Only Chelsea are near us with 25 goals conceded in 30 games.

And now Steven Davis wants to return to Rangers: http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...vis-would-consider-rangers-return_213253.html

They can all go. I don't care..! <laugh>

There is also a little bit of self preservation here. Northern Ireland go to Ibrox to play Scotland. Davis got some stick when he left having just signed a new 4 year deal with Rangers. He used TUPE law to get out of it and although Saints paid a fee, a few Rangers fans were not happy with him. I think these comments may be called "softening the reception"

Of course. I was only citing that yet another player has been quoted as leaving the ship.

Skrtel showing footballers have a brain. <doh>

Bigger ban incoming? Skrtel banned for 3 games currently.

Winston Reid rejected Spurs and arsenal to sign a new deal at the hammers.

Why can't any of our players be like that? :(
