Didn't we get Clyne at the end of his contract so needed a tribunal due to his age? In cases like this isn't there normally quite a large % owed to the club that trained him with his next transfer? I can't remember the exact figure but sure it is something like 25%?
 
So ManU and Chelsea are set to battle it out are they..? Anybody told Clyne and Saints yet..? So what if Clyney duly signs on for another few seasons..? Will the media say, sorry we really got that wrong..?

I think that's what pisses me off more than anything. Nobody apologises for being arrogant, running roughshod, or actually being wrong, unless it's so bloody obvious [Saints relegation etc...] You'd have thought a little caution might be in order, but no.

Clyne already knew.... Unless he has changed his mind (doubt it). He is looking for a move.

All the signs are he won't sign a new deal.
