I would now say that any of the three outcomes in the Liverpool-Spurs game on Tuesday would be a great outcome for us (but ideally I would like a draw). It is a total win-win game for us - so long as we beat West Ham. I accept that a Spurs win would mean that they've beaten Arsenal and Liverpool within the space of four days, but it would also mean Liverpool picking up just one point from their two games - and therefore their top four hopes would be hanging by a thread.

The sooner we can cut at least one side out of this race, the better. (Similarly if a few of us can pull City right back down into the race).

I liked the original version better; insults two ex-players for the price of one song!

606 having a Koeman v Pochettino debate.

Savage backing Koeman. Spurs fans phones in and says he expects Saints to end up 9th.

Says Koeman had "no pressure at all" and couldn't lose after taking over. Thinks Ronald would struggle if he was at a 'big club'.

We can just rotate the verses:

"He sits on the left, he sits on the right. Adam Lallana, he sits on the bench.

He sits on the left, he sits on the right. He's Adam Lallana, and Lovren is ****e."

Sing on loop.

Why do people think Pochettino was such a huge influence on Saints? He was only here 18 months and for the last 5mths our results were average (wonder why that was :emoticon-0183-swear). Good job we had a good start. Anyone would think without him we would still be in League 1. He played a part but only a small one.

Rant over :)

I'll have a listen later, as they are into the Championship stuff now. Sounds like the usual fun though. Been on the phone for over 90 minutes, so I missed it.

How could he say that when the press has been going on ad nauseum about the players we have lost. It's like they live in a bubble.

Stylistically, he did set the groundwork; Koeman has changed much, but Poch's preferred two-DM setup likely played a role in our decision to sign Wanyama, and the suffocating midfield is both the common ground between their tactics and probably our best attribute.

His daughter said he was thrilled with the attention....I suppose you miss the admiration and fame just a bit.

GK not Nigel Pearson.
People get forgotten quite quickly. Only today, Harry Kane was being interviewed after his Spurs match and commented on being a star striker alongside the likes of Klinsmann. He himself mentioned Robbie Keane, and when the broadcast went back to Lineker in the MOTD studio, said Gary coughed a little about being an ex-Spurs striker himself. Then dated it by saying that it was before Kane was born.

There was I thinking about Alan Gilzean, Jimmy Greaves and Martin Chivers..!
