Palace did us a real favour this weekend. Don't think i've ever been so happy about opposition results than i was when that game finished

Danny, if you're going to be a MOTD pundit, please pronounce names probably. Hazard is Belgian, not English. It is not pronounced "hazard". <doh>

11 goals in 21 games so far. Vlaar out for a few weeks. And Villa's next three games are Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea. Things could be looking very bleak for Villa in a month's time. Even Bournemouth in the FA Cup looks a tough one.

This is shaping up to be another nutty season in the bottom half...seven teams at or below a point per game, and that doesn't include the increasingly feeble Villa.

Also, has there been a team in recent memory as dependent on a single player for goals as West Brom is on Berahino at the moment? He has nine goals in the league; Craig Dawson has two; no one else has bagged more than one. If he gets injured they might not score ever again.

QPR and Austin, surely?

In my book Taylor probably got all the big decision right in the Spurs game. The only one I can't make my mind up is the Fazio push. It was a foul in my book, but given that it was outside the box, the "big call" element for me would be over whether or not it deserved a red card. I can't decide.

No way a red. He wasn't going towards goal when he was pushed.

Bridcutt red was cast iron dead cert bang to rights. Commentators gone mental. PS Sunderland crap.
