I'm still betting that Ashley is leaving. A number of Rangers shares were sold today, but no news on who bought them. Ashley wants to own more, but the SPL have blocked it as he has shares in Newcastle. I bet he thought it would be ok as they are in 2 different leagues. Wouldn't be surprised if he has set something up to buy a further tranche of Rangers shares and intends to divest himself of Newcastle. The Geordies may learn that there is truth in the old saying...Be careful what you wish for as you may get it.

Tbf, I think they wish for better than Ashley. 52,000 support, every other week, deserve better.

I don't think he'll be back in that team for a while banned or otherwise.

Indeed. When your manager has just had a go at you in the media, in particular in relation to a stupid yellow card, the last thing you want to do is to go and get a stupid four match ban.

I wouldn't be surprised if Monk tries to offload him at the end of the season. Possibly with only Championship clubs coming calling.

Frank Lampard to remain at Manchester City until the end of the season. Well that makes things more interesting. Lampard will inevitably play a part at Stamford Bridge.

I agree about Ashley. He'll probably see Rangerd as a bigger global brand for his jumble sale

How the hell do they work that. It was naughty, but not as bad as the three elbows Cisse put on Coleman and Cisse gets a 3 game ban. Sterling slaps someone and gets nothing. They are So I inconsistent it is crazy!
The 4 match ban is probably because he's already been sent off this season. Therefore an extra match gets added.
