If Fernandez had gone down that wouldve been a red, and they wonder why players dive.

Wonder if Sterling will be done by the disciplinary panel after the game like Cisse and (presumably) Shelvey?

How sterling didn't get sent off is beyond me.
Pains me to say it, but lallana was magical tonight.

WBA Irvine sacked. Pardew basically gone to Palace. He has been granted permission to speak to them.

Rumours are Sissoko is leaving.

Harsh on Irvine I think. He was never the right man in the first place, and the fans accepted that, but can anyone honestly say that West Brom are better than 16th?

Anyone else see Lallana's celebration for his second goal? Drew a halo above his head, tribute to his routes perhaps...
Gary Neville made some very complimentary remarks about the attitude that Southampton Academy boys have drilled into them when he was talking about Lallana after last night's game. "They're all good lads" apparently. Whatever we think about twatbeard personally, you can't deny that Saints turned out a cracking player based on last night's display.

This has been said before. Pardew described the boys as coming from good families....called them middle class. And as I've said ad nauseum, England youth coaches have described Southampton players as giving them no trouble. Enough people have mentioned it for it to be true.....the education provided (outside of the football) must be excellent.

Coloccini fave to be next Newcastle manager according to The Daily Fail.
