Just listening to TalkSport (not a regular occurrence because it is so poor), and Adrian Durham has come up with a ludicrous suggestion: If clubs have 3 or more players injured after International duty, they should be able to request that their next game be postponed.

Thoughts?

Their injuries would have to be independently verified, and would have to be judged as a serious weakening of the club side, but he may have a point. Certainly not one of his worst, if memory serves.

Poppycock.

Wasn't sure where to put this...

I'm working in London for a few days, I'm in a pub in Kensington n meet some bloke whos a Spuds fan. He goes on to tell me how great we are n that Poch will take them down (<laugh>). I laughed n by this point others in the pub had taken notice, I then get loads of people shaking my hand n saying how well we've done considering the Summer n how we're a joy to watch, us doing well is good for English football etc.

Safe to say I am sat here smug as **** right now, seeing as normally I'm laughed at when I tell people I'm a Saints fan. So proud.

Sorry for a random post, but thought some would appreciate the story <ok>

Oh I think you deserve a bit of latitude with that one, SF. It won't happen every day, especially when people start to get used to it. :)

Had a look through this thread. Can't spot anything.

Remember the joke penalty that backfired..? These Arsenal jokers: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/4344508.stm

Well now there's a team who can do it properly: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30095871

Should have been re-taken as the player had just entered the area before the 'taker' touched the ball ... here is a proper one:

Paddy Power have already paid out on bets for Chelsea to win the Premier League. Typical Paddy Power publicity stunt.
