Toby again: http://www.oohtobeagooner.com/arsenal-liverpool-set-to-miss-out-on-title-winning-defender-target/

I tend to feel that similar articles coming out at similar times are just lazy journos copying and pasting articles they have read, and therefore filling their news websites.

As for speculation over the potential situation with Jay Rodriguez [on his own thread], there is absolutely no source there either, but because he has NOT done something, one or two are coming to irrational conclusions.

I'll tell you one thing though. I have not eaten this evening and therefore I am hungry. There you go, you heard it here first. :)

No source for Jay? Apart from the same people that said Shaw, Lovren, Lallana will go said about how Jay wants to follow Pochettino. Unless he changes his mind which I doubt he will go.

Good to have you on the doubters side as well Beef. Most sensible thing you've written in ages. :)

If he leaves do you go all down again? Like when Lallana etc left? But people had been saying about them leaving for ages? :)

See I can be like you as well. :)

As I said on the Jay Rod thread this morning, we could conceivably lose Jay, Morgan, JWP, Tadić, Alderweireld and one or two others next summer but the difference from this summer will be that we know there is a plan, and that they will be replaced with players as good or better, and at a profit.

We won't lose that many of course, but you know what I mean.

Yep I think Jay and Morgan will be gone. Rest you said I haven't heard anything so can't really say.

Do you think Morgan is gone regardless of how well we do this season?

Everything can change but I think he still feels the same as he did. He just chooses to go about it better then Lallana and Lovren. It wouldn't suprise me if has been told to stay this season and then he can go if he still wants.

It's the impression that I get too. I'll be sad to see Morgan go and hope that he goes abroad.

If he's staying England I hope it's Arsenal. He'll flourish in that team and he'll be appreciated to boot.

Saints are looking to tie down Clyne for several years, and they also want to keep Toby Alderweireld:

Also, apart from Koeman himself, another Saints player has let slip that Champions League qualification is the aim of the next few seasons:

you build up our hopes that we can read a player talking about Saints and Champions League.............and then post the link to the toby one again...........or am I missing something

OK Now that it is in print then it is a fact and seeing as the mirror vote has 58% saying we will finish top 4 it must be true :)

Ah sorry. Chilco made amends though.

May I ask that you bookmark this news site, and then you don't have to depend upon others to do your looking for you, and get all disappointed when they don't come through..? :)

He, he. If it weren't for this site and other people's links I wouldn't bother about Saints apart from the games :) Sometimes I don't come on here because I know I will be diverted to other sites through curiosity :)

Goal.com have outdone themselves with an article headlined Why has Wenger turned his back on Belgium's golden generation? criticizing Wenger for not having any Belgians in the team which is apparently must have nationality.

Its absolutely amazing that garbage like this can pass as journalism. Who on earth cares what country the players are from as long as they fit the team :emoticon-0114-dull:
