You're obviously old enough. :)

Old enough to remember both Kenny and his wife delilah :)

Incidentally, am I right that Eastleigh are at home to Lincoln City in the FA Cup 1st round..?

Yup :) The formerly mighty imps aren't the force they were in 96. Funnily enough the other day I was moaning about diving to a Lincoln (and Liverpool coough, cough) fan and he immediately started going on about Ostenstad's dive at Sincil Bank :)

Should be a good game at the Silverlake.

Paul Lambert, says he isn't worried that they haven't scored in 5 games as he has people that can score ( yeah makes sense doesn't it). He also said it is more important for them to defend well then score ( even tho they have let in 13 in 5 games).

As you would expect Villa fans haven't taken it well.

Last night he said that if you can't score you'll never win a game. Maybe Villa should adopt the Southampton approach and get other teams to score for them...?

We do need another striker, but I suspect that Les has several irons in the fire as you don't always get the first you go for. There is also the doubt over Jay (both fitness and contract wise). It makes me turn to jelly when I realise we only have one out and out striker...luckily other players are scoring, but you still need a target man...after all Mane's goal came from a Pelle shot.

Adam Johnson says we've started well but are still one of the sides that he considers to be in the relegation battle. :)

Yes, that's been around a few days. When it popped up I read the first few lines and then skipped to something else. The only thing that makes it of any worth is the ridiculous nature of Johnson's statement. Tbh, I would credit even the dumbest footballer with more intelligence than that. I suspect he made a little reference to Saints not being safe yet and it was blown up out of proportion. If he is being accurately quoted then he needs to concentrate on Sunderland.

Seriously daft. Technically yes, after all we haven't got enough points yet to avoid relegation if we don't win another game, but how likely is that to happen. We could drop down a bit if we lost 3 consecutive games (as he said), but look at the number of clubs who would have to win at the same time for that to happen. I see us as more like being on a bungee rope...may drop, but then would just boing back.
