The season has been fantastic so far and long may it continue. We will fall away at some point but for now to see all of those who jumped ship finding themselves below us, it is really quite funny.
Tottenham Forum: 'The official POCH OUT thread' - http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/the-official-poch-out-thread.11846/
Post 1891 on the Tottenham thread thing just about sums up why Poch was never going to be great there. His tactics require hardwork and utter trust from his players. Tottenham are full of egos who don't want double training sessions.

TBF, Clattenburg was atrocious in that Man U game. I mean, he almost always sucks but this was a doozy even by his standards.
The first penalty, Vardy clearly fouled Rafael. Then everyone made a big deal out of Rafael "being stupid" and fouling back but in reality Rafael never even touched him in running back to cover after being shoved. I don't know what Rafael was supposed to do, just let Vardy stroll into the goal? The second penalty was legit, but there was a clear foul to lead to the breakaway causing Blackett to be forced to give up the pen.
Man U can't use that as an excuse for losing, but it needs to be highlighted again how bad Clattenburg is. The problem is every time he costs a team a game, there are enough fans delighted to see that team lose that they overlook just how crap he is.

Typical anti-ref comment. And completely untrue. It did sound like he had a shocker today but he's had more good games than **** games.

In truth, he had a fair game. Generally, he's a good ref.
Think we all knew that. He was a fit here because we had very talented players who (at least before he arrived) didn't have inflated egos. We all suspected he wouldn't get such willing disciples at Spurs. His promises wouldn't impress the players at Spurs as they did at Saints where many players had been in league 1.
A quote on the Spurs board says:
"This is just something I want to share..
Someone I know who has very close links to the club reckon quite a few of the senior THFC players are not buying into MP technics but especially his training tactics..Apparently you need "2 hearts" to able to reach his desired levels of fitness but without much "thought" to the technical side of the game..
The Southampton players brought into it as they were either relatively unknown or most were young and hungry from their academy but even they had some issues with it ( the guy who they signed from Italy?) and shipped out.. "
