During the week, the team included a black guy called Matt (sorry, didn't recognise him, but think he was a goalie). He was intelligent, humorous and clearly stated his opinion. A disgrace that he's a bit player when Merson gets on every week...I presume he's kept in so the thicker fan doesn't feel alone.
Matt Murray I believe Fran.

Indeed. If you want a claim to fame that you might remember, it was Matt Murray who was in goal for Wolves on the day we put six past them in the Championship, during the era of George Burley and zero money.

Well the season we won 6-0 we were still spending money (whether we had it or not) as that was the season we reached the play-offs. This was also my son's first away game

Gerrard has said they would have won a title by now if Rodgers had managered Liverpool longer...... <laugh>

Gerrard: “I wish I’d met Brendan when I was 24 because I think I’d be sitting here talking about a lot of titles that we’d won together.”

Ok Gerrard......

Has no one considered this statement more carefully. When Gerard was 24 Rodgers was a coach at Chelsea....
So Stevie is correct. If they had met then they would have been talking about the titles they had won. Just not with Liverpool. Or with Brendan as manager...

That would make sense. But we all know what Gerrard ment and it wasn't this. :p

Lallana out for a month apparently. Will be touch and go as to whether he will play at St Marys.
So we sold a CF who's the wrong side of 30, an injury prone midfielder and a CB seemingly incapable of defending to Liverpool for £50million.
