If you read how they've gotten the people out of the houses that they need to demolish then I hope we are not going to follow suit:

That is dreadful...I just assumed they'd bought the neighbouring houses at a decent price. The people should have had some benefit from it...not be worse off. I know this can happen when houses are in the way of a bigger development, but you would hope a football club would have more community spirit (I know...naïve). It's a bit like people getting low prices for houses in the way of a planned major road...not the real value, but the value of a house blighted by being in the way of a planned road development.

The worst part of it is it seems that the local authority was OK with it and approved compulsory purchase orders if necessary. Compulsory purchase orders for a football stadium expansion is ridiculous when you take into account how much these football clubs spend. £20 million on 1 player but we want the houses at less than market value.

Newcastle's midfield has been brilliant. Well organised, full of energy and pressing hard.

If Toon win I'm going to be tuning into the True Geordie. I do like it when he's happy. I also like the fact that he doesn't mind too much if Saints tonk Toon every once in a while, because we produced Shearer. :)
