It is underhand stuff, and both WBA and Saints believe it is being done by Spurs.

Yes, they might be able to do that with smaller clubs in desperate need of any money, but I would suggest that Saints have learned from bitter experience and now know the form. Besides, we're loaded.

 

Personally, I don't think that's reserved just for Tottenham, think it's a tactic all the bigger clubs (and Liverpool) do.

Blog about Pelle....nothing new, but have no problem with another puff piece. Voting has 86% of people thinking he is in the top 5 of EPL strikers....which suggests that 86% of people voting are Saints fans.

 

Don't know if mentioned but Mane and Wanyama nominated for African player of the year.

 

To be fair, I can't think of many in better form right now. If I was a PL manager, the one CF I wouldn't want facing my team right now would be Pelle. He's such a handful.

 

Actually, I find almost everyone I meet at work rates him highly. Most talk about him and Tadic as players they'd want their teams to sign. I doubt any of them know how old Pelle is, though. They probably assume he is mid-20s.

I'm going to keep a very keen eye on him - we need fresh blood. I hope he has a good game.

 

Will he have a big club bias and if so are we the big club? Hope he has a good game as well we don't want him frightened off.

 

Referees are not biased! I don't like saying this but the crowd does put pressure on a referee and sometimes they do get influenced by the home crowd. I genuinely hope he doesn't but it does happen to inexperienced referees.
