I always thought he should stay, just respected the right to ask the question (if you read it back)

The guardian, mail, sun, mirror are all reporting that Everton will give Koeman a 100million transfer budget and treble his wages to join them.

I can't see it personally but... This unsettles me.

It gets worse when you go through the season and tot up the points we gave away: Newcastle away, Watford Away,Norwich away, Villa home, Utd home, city away,Chelsea home, you quickly get a points tally very close to Leicester

I just can't help looking at games against Norwich or Everton, or Newcastle, and thinking if we'd won one of those, plus one more in our bad run, eg. against Palace or Bournemouth, we'd have not only top four in our hands, but an easy summer in terms of player and manager in and out anxiety. So easy on the face of it - though I know West Ham and other teams have their own near misses too.

EDIT: sorry, seen the jist of this has been said in the interim.

Okay fellas, I'm top in my mates' Fantasy Football league, but by only 12 points with four or five people breathing down my neck.

My plan is to sub Sturridge out of my team since I think he'll be rested. So the question is, who do I replace him with:

    Rooney vs Bournemouth (Home)
    Giroud vs Villa (Home)
    Kane vs Newcastle (Away)
    Long vs Palace (Home)
    Aguero vs Swansea (Away)

I'm tempted by Giroud since Arsenal are playing Villa. But he's a donkey. Kane is a weapon, and Newcastle have lost their fight. Long is up against a shoddy Palace team with one eye on the FA cup. Utd have to beat Bompey, so Rooney will play his socks off. Aguero is Aguero.

    Please help me.

Take Rooney off your list. That's one less.
Aguero is brilliant but Swansea are back on form.
For me, Long or Kane, then maybe Giroud.

That wasn't aimed at you Os, just a general dig as lots here called for him to go.

First ripple bumpy wave and people are calling for change!

Thanks FLT. At the moment my gut is telling me Kane. Spurs will be desperate to finish above Arsenal. Re: Long, I don't know if I can stake so much on a Saints player.

I'm in a FF league at work (the Telegraph one), leading the Golden Boot by 3 plus in with a pretty good chance of 3rd place overall in the league and 1st in this month's league. The FA Cup counts and I have one sub left. I've already got Martial so who do I use my 1 sub on? It makes me physically sick to think of putting Rooney in but thinking of Mata, if I can afford him. Any suggestions anyone?

Ooh, that's either brave or stupid, considering there's money riding on it...

Is this the first EPL season where relegation and champions are decided before the last day? It just leaves everyone discussing European qualification in great detail.

Wasn't it similar last season, I might be wrong because obviously we were fighting for 5th & ended 7th which was still very exciting, just couldn't imagine anything else interesting happening that day!!!

The owners seemed set on sacking him for a long time now. Watford played some good stuff, and in Deeney and Ighalo have a good strike force. Will probably just chop and change players between clubs again. Madness. He seems like a thoroughly nice guy as well.

In fact, IF we found ourselves needing to replace a manager, I would consider him based on this season. We won't though as our Ron is going to sign at that little pitch side table on Sunday.
