Great goal.

 

The Newcastle players fouled each other there.

 

Will someone from the BBC please be fair and publish the view (well, fact) that Leicester have had absolutely NOTHING go against them all season? They've been good, but very, VERY fortunate as well.

I'm enjoying them, but this very true. Who gets ten penalties, who, Fergie didn't get that many in a season!

 

While true, their system generates far more situations meriting a pen than most teams. They don't seem to be able to go 10 minutes without someone making a desperation lunge in Vardy's direction.

 

I'm getting this sneaky feeling Newcastle are going to get something from this.

 

Barely had an injury either, Bournemouth have had about 17 snapped ACLs.

 

Lucky Leicester. Didn't deserve the win at all.

 

Right. So The Foxes are lucky and so we now all hate them. So we want Spurs to win the league!

 

Winning ugly is a trait of Champions, Arsenal and Spuds would't have cared about the performance either. They did however produce the only moment of quality and have earned their luck through blood, sweat and sheer endeavour. They are at a massive disadvantage with the depth and quality of their squad compared to the mega wealthy clubs where one player cost more than their entire squad.

 

Koeman said last week that we lacked consistency, but then added that there was only one team this season that was consistent....Leicester. Champions are the ones who can churn out the ugly 1-0 wins.

 

Just doing some maths here. If Aston Villa are 9-12 points adrift when we visit there, we could send them down. And if Crystal Palace keep on being terrible, that last game of the season could matter...(requires Newcastle to start winning though).

Thought Ronald was good this evening on MNF. I even forgave him for putting Matty into second place because that was one of just loads of super free-kicks by LeTiss. If they had put them all up he would have had a 1-2-3.

And Ron apologised as well. Ed Chamberlain seemed suitably awestruck. As did Garragher for that matter.

 

This may be controversial, but depending on where we are (and where Spurs are) in the league in a few weeks, I might even be happy to take a Saints loss vs Leicester to stop that happening!
