Oddly, Liverpool have backed off and Villa, who have been very slow in possession before, when being pressured, are a little more comfortable. Starting to get the odd chance now. Bakuna is playing very poorly though, so far. 3 times he has let his teammates down when in a good position.

I have to confess to being a closet Arsenal fan and would be very pleased for Theo, Alex and whoever the other bloke was we sold them, to get a winners medal.

As for Spurs they are just a little club who think they are much better than they can ever hope to be.

5-0 and Clyne gets a goal. Huh, he loves Villa Park.

6-0, and it literally just hit Toure on the head, and no Villa player even moved. Those poor Villa fans. Disgraceful.

Indeed. I lost interest at 0-2, fearing the worst for Liverpool's improving GD, so exactly what you've pointed out. I can only assume Villa have been shocking as Liverpool aren't that good, even with Sturridge.

Wonder if the post-match appraisal will be about Villa being poor or Liverpool being good?

Probably be about Sturridge. Expect he and Welbeck to be making headlines tomorrow. Who needs strikers who play every week?

It's Villa being poor - no doubt.

Kolo Toure now has more PL goals this season than Eden Hazard. <laugh>

But Liverpool are still media darlings, so I won't be surprised if it isn't about Villa having a much bigger off-day than usual, but more about Liverpool exploiting their weaknesses.

The BBC will bang on about how good Liverpool are, and I imagine their fans will dominate the phone ins. Carragher summed it up right: Villa embarassing.

Yes he did. They were far worse than when we played them at St Marys last season, when they had Benteke.

    Quote from Man U forum:

"Yeah I'm not really sure what Schneiderlin, gives us really. Doesn't tackle, can't run, not a great passer, rarely gets in the box. He's hardly mentioned in commentary. No wonder Van Gaal opts for Fellaini. At least he tries not to be ****."

    Discuss.

On the face of it, the ManU supporter has a point. Morgan doesn't do for ManU what he did for Saints. But if the team around him aren't doing their bit he can't do his.
