I've seen Saints waste time like crazy after the ET has started and the ref has blown smack on the time limit. I think the foul occurred just over the time limit. I'll have a look later.

That thought did occur to me earlier today. I hope we don't do them too much damage. ;)

Leicester were not hard done by. I know you dislike Arsenal but the referee was right to allow the free kick to be taken.

Come on, City! My entire preferences for that game (Arsenal win, but definitely no draw) were built on what is worst for Spurs. Important to keep this a three or four horse race, as great as it would be for Leicester to win the league. Arsenal and City have the players who can play under the intense pressure they're about to experience, whereas Leicester and Spuds don't.

My dislike is nothing to do with it. I'm always for fairness. You should know that by now.

Turning to other events, I suppose we are all honorary Villa supporters today?

As much as Spurs are my fourth preference for the title. I wonder if City are the most likely to leave the top four window open ajar for the chasing pack

I really don't want Arsenal to win the league, the smugness of their fans would be too much to handle.

I would rather that Tottenham wins it, despite Poch factor. And I don't mind City winning it, nobody just really doesn't care about them, either in a good or a bad way. Basically, as long as Liverpool, United and Arsenal don't win it, I'm happy.

I'd say that might heavily depend on how far Spurs go in the Europa League. The longer they're in that competition, the more likely they are to trip up in the league in my view. But if they get straight out of it (unlike Utd and Liverpool, Spurs' best chance of CL next season is certainly by finishing in the top 4 rather than by winning the EL - so why not get straight out?), then yes I think I'd agree that City are the most likely of the four to leave that door ajar.

Not that I think we have any chance of catching any of them, mind.

Spurs would be my last choice for the title.

Same, there's a very smug Spurs fan at my work so I really don't want them to win the league.

My only preference for winning the title is Leicester City. Apart from them I really don't give a ****. The more glamorous the club is the more anonymous it becomes.

Milner makes it 0-2. This could get a bit tragic for Villa.

Strongly dislike Arsenal fans. Thought that Giroud and the other players antics influenced Atkinson second half. Leicester should've had another penalty also.

Villa looking likely to get another hiding.

I'll ignore the football and the cricket and focus on the rugby then.
So great to have options, I feel like Ronald Koeman

As we are at the top, it is always in our interest for the teams at the bottom to win (except against us). Villa not going to do us any favours though.

    Ho-ho! :)
At the time it was just to be anti Scousehampton, but it's all a bit futile. Sturridge has frightened the living daylights out of the Villa defence and that allowed him to score. Since then the Villa defence has lost any shape when under pressure that I can see. Milner made it two and Villa are just giving the ball away almost anywhere.
