    Well, it's either a Silva goal or an own goal. Silva got the last touch for Man City. And it was a vital touch , as the defender looked like he would have comfortably blocked it otherwise.

    If it's a Top4 team it can't be an own goal. They're so super-duper it must have been one of their players. Even if he was dressed in WBA colours. :)

    My gut feeling Is also that if Silva hit the shot, and Toure got the deflection, then it would have been awarded to Toure still.

    So City top at this very early stage. I suppose many supporters up and down the country like City as their neighbourhoods (from Fareham, Yeovil, Market Harborough to Blyth) are not infested with people wearing their shirts. Go anywhere in Fareham and you see Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid but not City. So if we are not going to win the PL I don't mind City winning it. Besides it was their supporters who put the humour back into football watching with their inflatable bananas.

    Apparently the panel are giving it to Harry Kane. A slight gust of wind he created in training this morning had been moving towards the Midlands at a steady rate, until it reached The Hawthorns at around that time.

    Can you imagine how much pressure there is on the majority of managers this season? It's almost diamond-creating pressure for a few (Van Gaal; Rodgers - and no, I'm not suggesting that anything resembling a diamond will result from that pressure).

    Yet there is only one manager cool, calm, collected, and with balls big enough to miss the first game... :emoticon-0103-cool:
