If I'm 12, your mum is a ***** We were out of the premier league for one season. A season in which is actually accounted for in the figures I quoted (I don't know why either, but there we go). You've only spent less than Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd, as you've consistently attempted to buy your way into 4th.
My mum's dead, so you're a necrophiliac. Probably the only way that you can get a woman, to be fair. You were out of the Premier League for two seasons. You didn't start in it. You don't even know anything about your own ****ing club. Again, you don't understand spending. Arsenal totally outspend us every year, but thickos don't include wages as that's too many numbers for them. Claiming that we've spent the fifth highest amount to finish fifth is also immensely stupid. Isn't that what you'd expect to happen? It's also bollocks, as Sunderland and Villa have a higher net spend than us, rather strangely. Newcastle are in 8th place in that league, yet barely scraped out of the relegation zone. More embarrassment.
It isn't bollocks. Stop dredging up this net spend rubbish. You have spent the fifth most of any English club since like 1992. Of course I expect Spurs to be up there and competing, that's the whole ****ing point dimwit. You spend to try and get 4th, exactly what your buddies were claiming Arsenal, who have spent less in that time, have done. Arsenal have comparatively moneyballed their way to their position, which is vastly more impressive. especially considering they spent almost 50 million of that entire transfer spend on one player. We haven't acheived much less than yourselves, and we have spent a hell of a lot less.
So if you ignore any attempt to look at the figures sensibly, then we're still where you'd expect us to be? Then you don't have anything even approaching a ****ing point, do you? Arsenal have vastly outspent us, except to complete ****ing idiots. If you're going to ignore wages, then you may as well ignore transfers. Why include the largely irrelevant one, even going for gross spending to make it even less sensible, then ignore the one that matters? You haven't achieved much less than Spurs? You got relegated. You've won nothing since 1955, for ****'s sake. Ruth Ellis watched you pick up your last trophy.

Cracking We almost won the premier league, an actual trophy, highest you've ever finished, is 4th... We've played more champs leagues matches... How embarrassing for a club with your total spend. Oh and your wages are ****ing way higher than ours, and we've had Owen
To be fair, Arsenal can afford to pay better wages, because we have better revenue streams, we achieve more and we play football in the top competitions where the top players demand top wages. That said, Arsenal don't actually publish specific player wages and instead publish their entire wage bill for all employees at Arsenal. So that's everybody from Wenger, the players, coaches, physios, doctors, scouts, medical, admin, backroom, even down to the tea lady. To say that Arsenal spend more on wages than Spurs in terms of the team, is simply speculative. Spurs could not only be outspending us on transfers, but they might actually be outspending us in real terms on their players wages. All the while achieving significantly less than their superior North London neighbours.
You've won **** all since 1955. Nineteen fifty five. How you've got the audacity to slag off any trophy is beyond me, frankly. Anyone winning one with your shower of ****e would get a statue. You nearly won something once? What the **** is that?! Our net spend is roughly the same as yours and you've spent two years outside of the top-flight and won **** all. You massively overspent to try and get somewhere, failed and have had to be dug out by a fat Chelsea fan who hates you all. Your wages were actually higher than ours until Fat Mike realised that you'd go under if he didn't put a stop to it. Fixed.
We have won Intertoto and Championship trophies actually... Which, whilst admittedly not much to brag about, at least involved sending out our strongest team against another team's strongest every round
On topic again... and I would never normally bet on the favourite on this sort of market, but I just can't turn down 5/1 on Brenda, will be lumping a score on that.
You do write some crap on here, but this possibly the most ridiculous thing I have read from you so far and surely you even dont really believe this. The figures for the wages paid to Ozil were quoted by the BBC a little while back on a how long does it take a premier league footballer to earn your wage article, and I would think that they would be quite confident on their figures before using them and they had Ozil on £135,000 per week. Now this is an assumption but I would suggest that Sanchez will be on at least the same, if we then suggest that you have another 23 first team players earning £80,000 per week on average your total wage bill only on players would be £109M. Tottenham have 1 player earning £100K (who will hopefully soon be gone), even if we were paying the other 24 in our 25 man squad £70,000 per week we would still only have a wage bill of £91M. And even those figures which I think are high for Spurs and low for Arsenal, that has your wage bill 16% higher. And whilst I have no desire to re-open the net v actual spend debate, getting the best possible price when selling your players is a legitimate revenue stream. I happen to think that you are a brilliantly run club and your record for finishing in the top 4 (and the way you have done it) can only be admired and whilst I do not expect us to pass you anytime soon, we are now at least competing better than we were 10 years ago
The idea that Spurs outspend Arsenal on wages is simply ridiculous. The clubs publish figures, which are freely available. Piskie's trying to suggest that Arsenal spend an additional £60-80m every season on tea ladies and the like than Spurs do. I'll leave it to others to say how likely that is.
This is probably the worst "owning" has suffered! I cannot have pity for him, because he brings it upon himself.
Back on topic - Rodgers to me has the most to fear as he has again gone and bought another shed load of ****e. #shedloadofshiteliverpool
