Premier League Flop 11

I don't see why or how somebody would include Skrtel or Rosicky in their XI?

Skrtel has had a great season for Liverpool. He may not be a good 'footballer', but he's not a bad defender.

Rosicky has been sensational since January. Ramsey was ahead of him before January, so he didn't have the opportunity to shine.

 

How are you guys defining 'flop' here? Someone who was brought into the club this season but failed to perform? Or just underperformed the whole season regardless of time spent at the club?

People putting Glen Johnson in are just media spoon fed idiots who haven't watched him play. He's been solid this year and a great attacking outlet. Martin Skrtel is another laughable pick. He was part of the best defence for most of the season, just like Johnson clearly a flop.

Downing is a given.
Carroll, despite his one month purple patch, also underperformed.
Henderson...meh, he's been just as good as the 'brilliant' phil Jones. Not amazing, not bad. Just average.
Reina's been disappointing and made alot of mistakes, I could understand if he's picked.

Do people even watch us play or just feed from the media? Some stupid picks here...

 

My Johnson was for Roger, not Glen though I think he's over rated and doesn't deserve to be in the England set up over Richards or Walker. I tried to pick people in their actual positions.

I went for a combo of value for money vs expectation vs performance. The high volume of Scousers we're down to the money you spent. Bar Spearing. I just included him as he freaks me out...

People are just putting in players they don't like or that were never good.

A flop arrives with a reputation and doesn't deliver.

My apologies, i thought this was the new one, that seems to have vanished somewhere.
