Just skimming the archives and came across this beauty from January 2018

    https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.co...ool-tottenham-arsenal-spending-transfers-news

"Tottenham simply does not spend at a level that can sustain their current rate of success. What we see right now from Spurs is probably the best iteration of them possible unless their spending habits change. On current trajectory, they will be out of the conversation for top four places in the relatively near future."

"Now, to Everton, the inclination is to look at Everton’s figure and think that we are getting terrible value for our transfer money, but I disagree. Everton had to catch up to these other big clubs over the last four years, both in first team quality and in squad depth infrastructure, and I would say in many ways we have."

"Bottom line here is that Everton Football Club is moving in the right direction, we should absolutely and without question consider ourselves among the big spenders in the Premier League, and as a new stadium opens, and revenues increase, so will our spending."

"It’s always a good time to be a Toffee, but what I’m seeing off these numbers suggests to me that the next five years will be even better."

You've got wonder quite what a city player has to do to get a yellow card.

Absolutely blatant bad challenge by walker, but luckily he put another one in five minutes later and gave the ref no choice but to book him.

How it ederson still on the pitch

Feel for Bournemouth, they've started very well.
walker should be off for two yellows, if ederson challenge was committed by an outfield player it would have been straight red.

I think Wilson's was slightly better than sterling's toe poke. Close call though, I can see where the confusion came from.

City dominating at 2-1 to them, but Wilson's goal from a free kick was sublime. He does have a great free kick in him, but otherwise is an average PL player. Can't see him getting near our first 11 at this point in time.

His free kicks are truly world class. He hits them like it open play too. Klopp has seen a lot of him though and simply doesn’t fancy him by the look of it. Hope he scores a bagful and increases his value massively.

I'm sat on the beach watching on my phone, Wilson's free kick is well worth searching for, absolute screamer.

    Apologies for my snarky reply.
