    Quite impressed with Villa and tipped them to finish top half pre season, very easy on the eye at times.

    Moise Keane would have driven me crazy if that was us, trying to chase the game and he kept giving needless fouls away, standing in front of free kicks in Villas half as if they were 1-0 up rather down!

    Yeah before last night, he’d kept 10 clean sheets in our previous 13 PL fixtures, you’ve got a real point there <doh>

    Our problem of late is Calvert Lewin, he’d done nothing in he opening 2 games to justify his selection last night, the lad just isn’t currently good enough to lead the line at Everton imo, and he missed a sitter. Villa mugged us last night, on the balance of play there’s no way we should have left with nothing, but you don’t score you don’t win, and they took their only chances well and we didn’t. Meh.

    Kean will be a real player once he settles into our side and the PL.

    Mourinho would immediately buy more defensive mids and just play one up front. Don't think the Everton fans would stomach that.

    I used my wildcard and swapped most of my squad. Put Mount and Pukki in but left the latter on the bench (3rd sub too)
