Trippier was made out to be the next big thing in the world cup last year, even though everyone seems to ignore him being 29 this year. Plus he is sh!t

How could Tripper competed with West Derby Beckham.

Could have two of the back four/five from Liverpool for next WC.

Don't really care too much, but probably something like

    Trent----Gomez----Stones----Chilwell

Don’t rate Chilwell defensively. But Gomez, stones and Slab Head could be a decent back three and allow TAA and Rose/Chilwell to get up and also add some quality to our poor MF

Southgate signalled that he valued keeping the media happy over winning when he made Kane captain and then Sterling

Apart from you putting Hendo in the holding role, I'd agree.

I wedged alli in to please the ****es. I eman its alli or barkley.... I was looking at england "holding" options and really its either placy rice or endure Dier (apparently he's an england hero), Delph, or that...

Look england should have winks and foden in... end of and the rest can **** right off. those at least can pass it.

Alli has been ruined by spurs and wants to play 10.. well.... is there a 10 role for him? or is sterling, sancho and rashford.. and kana... taking up the forward berths.

So realistically if england want to ever look like actually winning they need a solid defence (aka play liverpool and leicester players not city ****es) then have a decent midfield = MUST PLAY FODEN. need a good no 6 (pick one) and then the other midfielder needs to work up and down pitch.

    England "options"

No 6: dier Rice Delph henderson
No 8s Foden, winks, loftus cheek, alli, ward prowse, barkely maddison.

In short if you want a donkey side pick 2 of the no 6s. cos they are absolutely muck.

If you want a modicum of creativity go for a maddison, a foden, a winks.... if you want "running" and "phyiscality" loftus cheek and barkley.

England have LOADS of decent players

But theres some "big" names now in the way of progress

    Pickford
    TAA Gomez Maguire Chilwell
    Foden Rice? Maddison
    Sterling Rashford Sancho

Sorry alli, sorry kane, sorry stones, sorry walker, sorry rose, sorry henderson..... You've got to be better than the side above to get a game not be auto pick.

Bit embarrassing to make a team of a tournament that last half a week and only 4 games
