All games can be won or lost, but the gap between the two teams' league positions reflects the gap in their quality. There's no reason why we are more likely to slip up against them than anyone else. No matter how determined they are, or free from fear, we will still be expected to win.
Of course you will be expected to win and I believe you will, quite handsomely. The point I was trying to get over is that relegated teams often improve once the pressure is off, if managers and teams had the same view as some supporters (they are **** so we should hammer them) then a big shock could be on the cards.
You know I never say that - all I am saying is that there's no reason to fear a slip up against them any more than any other team in our run-in. It was in response to a particular post.
Agreed. Plus, that fear stems purely from timing. Play this game at the start of the season and there would be no fear. It's title chasing nerves, nothing else.
My nerves are shot - I'm not even enjoying games any more because there's too much at stake. I was better off when we were mediocre.
I've not been nervous in the last couple of games. Was for a few before that though. Generally get a feeling watching the game, if we're playing well then I'm confident we'll get the job done.
We need an Arsenal win tonight to keep the pressure on Utd and Spurs for top four. I cannot ever remember a season like this. I was actually pleased that Utd won this weekend. I feel dirty
I was halfway through a post and must have seen something shiny! Brighton will lose to City whatever happens. We don’t want Cardiff smelling an escape from Relegation in any way.....that type of sh*t will make them give another 10%
Nah....Cardiff will be in with a shout of escape in place of Brighton (who are shocking). I’d rather Cardiff have their bubble burst properly before we meet them.
He can hardly tell his players to go out and lose, can he? It's down to them, to a degree - but mostly it's down to us.
Most Premiership offside this season. Top 5. 1.Burnley 96 2.Fulham 88 3.Mancester city 88 4.Manchester United 80 5 Brighton [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji203][emoji3] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Theoretically, he could pick a weakened side or **** up his tactics so there is no need to tell his players to lose. But yeah, fully expect him to be 100% professional with his approach to this game. I'd lose respect for him if he didn't anything but.
