Spurs imo will be blown out after midweek. City rested fernandino today.

Over the weekend and midweek there's lots of fixtures but.

Utd play Everton away
Arsenal play palace at home
Chelsea play Burnley at home.

They could easily be joint 5th with Utd if they don't focus. Lose to city and thry are on back foot big time.

 

I would prefer City as it stands because our rivalry with you is much bigger and on more level terms.
That said Treble made a good point earlier, if City get to the CL final then it would be better if you win the league. No way I (or anyone else I would imagine) would want City to do the quadruple.

 

I wouldn't worry about that as long as you don't do anything stupid like best Barca.

I know this sounds twee but I think football needs Liverpool to win the league
Bit light the Leicester win few years back but I think this is bit more serious
If city retain and or win quad money wins (I know we have spent but we not in same league as city - no one is)

The way I see it if city lose or implode pep loses a lot of his mystique
They win and we can wave bye to most pots for next 5 seasons or so

Cardiff could be a good call. Relegated teams are suddenly free of fear when they play and many of the players want to catch the eye of other teams with the hope of getting a move back into the PL.
