Right here fella, poor result but it's the first in a long time and against a decent team. I believe you managed to score 2 more goals than a relegation threatened team at home today, well done City must be ****ting it
City will certainly be #worried that we comfortably beat Burnley (who Solskjaer fluked a point against) despite their ref doing his best to derail us
Do you agree with Solskjaer and the Man Utd fan channels that you dominated Arsenal and were denied a win by Moss?
I would say that after the first 30 mins in which they tore us apart easily we then went on to slightly edge the play. We were beat today by a freak goal and a soft penalty but we have won games with the same sort of thing so no problem, Matic was well off the pace today and it was probably the wrong game to bring him back in, Rashford looks like he is running on fumes and needs a break (Martial coming back could provide that). It was nice to see Fred continuing his recent form, he is starting to look like the player I hoped he would be, Greenwood got a few more minutes today and looked very settled so some good from a bad result. Where did Ole say the ref beat us?
Do you agree with Solskjaer and the Man Utd fan channels that you dominated Arsenal and were denied a win by Moss? This says different
Fair enough Didn’t see that just the one about the fans And Tbf they are Couple of my mates have already rang me ffs to whinge Like I would have sympathy Tbf it looks like you both going to end up in top four as spurs totally melting down Lmao
Solskjaer: "We are disappointed with the result but looking at the performance, you cannot say it was a game we deserved to lose. We created five big chances, hit the woodwork twice. We have won games we have not deserved to win, and today we lost a game we did not deserve to lose."
It may come as a shock to you but there is not always a scapegoat (regardless of what Klopp tells you, the wind, grass and general weather is the same for both sides), sometimes you just don't get what you deserve. That said, today we were just not good enough, yes we had chances but didn't take them. Tough **** happens.
sorry but I watched thst game and while Utd stabilised things second half they were never thst much if a threat to arsenal and deserved to lose. the second goal took time coming but arsenal were in almost at will. lindeloff was woeful matic was over run Pogba was indulging his petulant side. to think somehow that utd deserve a anything from that is stretching credulity. the only issue I have is we didnt get to see arsenal tv at its whining best after....
I thought it was a very open game with many possible chances, it could have ended 5-5. Not impressed with the defending from either side. De Gea has a shocker for the first, and I wasn't convinced with the pen. Moss had a terrible afternoon, no surprise there. And Pogba should have been off the pitch before he was booked. Race for 3rd and 4th is intriguing, I want MU still to be in it come the Manc derby for obvious reasons
I agree with all of the bold bit, apart from that you watched a different game to most. We created the most (and best) chances but ****ed them up, yes in the first 30mins they were running through our defence at will but never looked dangerous (apart from a freak shot and soft pen). Once Lindelof moved over to the right we looked a fair bit better, not good just better. Matic was way off the pace and really should maybe would have been hooked at half time if Herrera had been available, Pogba had to sit deeper which we all know he isn't good at. As a last resort I will turn to the stats that Jimmy and Astro love so much XG United 2.5 XG Arsenal 1.5
As much as excuses shouldnt be made right after a match as it's a bad loser or drawer? thing to do. You cant say that windy and bad weather doesn't favour a team who relies on unpredictability, I.e. hoofing it up the pitch blindly at every opportunity.
