I actually thought they cleared the wrong area. Couldn't pass around midfield to the front because of it. The ball holding up in the area wasn't that bad.
Thought the same, but it came down quite heavy and just left a slush on the field. As for whether its right or not, thats for debate. Some teams let the grass grow long, some water it heavy, some water certain parts, some make the dimensions as small as possible and some make the pitch as big as possible. From Stoke to Barcelona, I have seen those tactics.
The best tactic I have seen against Liverpool is the Everton belly rub. We just roll over every ****ing game.
Is Gueye going or not btw? Just doesn't look good for you guys. If we are still top when we go to Goodison, I expect you to do everything but roll over
If Gueye goes we will make morey, reduce wage bill and open up route for new players in summer. Season is over, we have been **** but sit 8th. Not arsed if he goes.
They did mention it. Dyche was complaining that Lingard went down too easily with a "tap" on the shoulder. I can't see how the referee seeing the defender "pulling" the player back by the shoulder (as viewed from behind) can do anything but give a pen. To me it was barn door . That's why no one in the media had any doubts. There was another Mo incident during the match. It was not a dive or playacting by Mo but he barged into the defender who was stood in front of him. It was not a pen nor was it a dive IMO.
Yeah that was one as a defender where you just stand your ground and the forward runs into you. Not much you ca do as a defender. He got his arm up a bit high maybe, but I’d say that’s more for protection. He didn’t thrust his arm into Salah, just put it up to protect himself. Was nothing in it from both sides, certainly wasn’t a dive or Salah going down easy though
Another "mo indicent" that says it all.. keep working the diver angle and eventually it'll stick. we shouldn't be enabling this ourselves.
The BBC football crew are going to miss Fellaini, not a mention of his infamous elbowing artistry btw and they also forgot he used to play for Everton FC. "Farewell Fellaini: Why we will miss Marouane" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/47072603
Funny thing is all the utd supporters are glad to see the back of him. Only the unbias bbc that will miss him
As we know, as soon as they sign for Utd they're a protected species as far as the BBC are concerned. Simon Stone is wearing a black suit and tie today and is currently mourning his departure.
any real utd fan will be celebrating the removal of the biggest stain on utds team and biggest visible icon of the malaise that they have gone through since Ferguson left.
I don't understand how they expect to fill Fellani's shoes? Who is going to elbow people in the face to stop them scoring at old Trafford now?
