Macca is blowing out of his arse after 70mins, even earlier after internationals. He's a great player, but not an athlete.
I think nearly 3 seasons with no break have caught up. Very silly boy imo. And frankly lfc sbould have not allowed him back in training after 8 days off. However at his best he is fairly slow. Arsenal have too many cbs, not enough proper full backs or strikers but they have 2 top class cbs, 2 top class cms and 2 top class wingers. It's their issue that raya, white, skelly. Partey and havertz make up the numbers, good but not the same level The reserves are then trossard, jesus, sterling (not great)
It is a cert that they will it a striker or two in the Summer, they will probably be favourites to win the premier league next season. Pep is not the force he was, he will spend a lot more money this Summer, we will see what comes out of that. Newcastle are the form team at the moment, they will want to hold onto their best players and money is not an issue there. We really need to sort the fullback situation out and it Looks like Nunez and maybe Diaz will go in the Summer.
Be interesting with Newcastle. They have a brilliant midfield and striker. Gordon and Barnes are decent but could be improved, Murphy is having a season but it’s an anomaly so can’t expect to be as good again. They do lack up top if Isak is out injured or out of form (or sold) and I feel their defence just isn’t there. Keeper is very dodgy trippier is so so but Livramento looks a twlent botman is decent schar and burn are alright but nothing special and hall is alright. If they improved that Gk and defence with a couple signings plus a strong wide player and keep hold of everyone else I can see them being top 4 and potential challengers. Saying that, with added CL games never know how going to cope
I couldn't call anything for next year, so many things will change. Full summer rests. Big buys New managers
Probably the wrong thread for this but it's always one of the busiest... Can one of the locals recommend somewhere to get some grub when I come up next month for our match at Everton? Don't want anything crazy expensive just somewhere half decent for a nice meal. Preferably mexican/Italian/middle eastern. Some recommendations on things to see would be appreciated too. Been to both teams before but spent hardly any time in the city for either so looking to make a weekend of it this time.
Lets hope we don't sell them Kelleher then. Can't see them losing any of their top stars now either, the buzz of the cup win and probably gaining a CL place I see most wanting to stay at least another season for the adventure and to see where they can go. Essentially I think ourselves and Arsenal can forget wanting Isak and Man City ain't getting Bruno. Think Newcastle are getting away with the whole sportwashing thing though. Don't take as much flak as City or PSG. And it's come really fast for them, league title within 2 or 3 years if the continue the way they are.
Cherki with another goal for Lyon. Would def take him on a freebie to add a left footed option to cover and compete with Salah.
Watched last part of spuds. They were absolute pants and frwnfurt just fluffed loads of chances around the area Now utd collapsing. Absolutshit show
They came back from 2-down to one up in 5 minutes. Yeah, they played against 10-men for 40 minutes (and went 2 down against 10 men), but Hell, it's up there with any great night in European footballing history. really,
If you don't mind a detour through South Carolina I can name some good places to eat.... Just make sure you leave 2 months early incase you get delayed by ICE.
Where will you be staying (approximately) Obviously the only things to do is the lfc stadium tour and see if you can do the abseiling off the main stand There's something about some band or other as well. Few museums as well.
