https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpwxx15vjdxo I swear to god if any part of the Government or the local Manchester council or any national sporting body put any funding towards paying for Man Utds, one of the worlds richest clubs, new stadium people should riot. The only people who should be paying for it is the owners.
One of the finest footballers in my life that I ever had the privilege to see play live (on 3 occasions). RIP. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ckgvny01x9go
True, I'm not confident about that either, but that's because it's January away to Brentford - even had Santa given me my wish list of players and the big 3 had signed their contracts I'd still be sweating. Just hoping our midfield is cooking this afternoon as it was in the 2nd half against Forest, because if they're as dire as they were in the 1st half then it'll be all over at the break.
I can honestly say I've never, ever dreaded an upcoming match. A bit nervy over some, yes, but fear? No.
Seriously pissed at the level of Goalkeeping I am watching in games against Arsenal Given that every gk we have faced in what seems like ages have been having worldies lol
Martinez has always been a slight above average keeper. He just pulls off a couple of dramatic saves but so far 2 have been hit directly at him and he’s pushed them both in. did the same month or so ago when someone Headed one at him and he fell back into the net with it. He’s brilliant at penalties and helped Argentina win which has somehow skewed everyone’s minds.
I was predicting a draw for this game, but I thought that was scuppered at 2-0. My god, well done Villa.
