Yep, embarrassing. I can understand how the ref may have saw it in real time, but it’s a mistake that needed correcting
it was a yellow minimum but we’ve seen it slowed down where as the ref just saw Fenandes stick his leg out and catch the spurs player below the knee. It was only on the replay that you saw what had happened as it wasn’t obvious when watching what had happened.
It looks like he rakes down his shin as well, so that may have influenced the decision. Bit harsh maybe, but it's hard to feel sympathy for Bruno, with his constant whining. The two-footed jump by Martinez against Palace was worse though.
