Heard that Keir Starmer 'as PM has to have the protection of a box at Arsenal' meanwhile Rishi Sunak at Southampton games ..
Trent Alexander-Arnold: “I said to Arne Slot that I would like to be the defender that no one wants to come up against in Europe”. “It is really refreshing to have a manager who will help and guide and teach me how to be better”. Interesting words there. Is far to say his defending has been very good this year. He’s never needed to be prime maldini, just needed to be ok, get close, use his body and be aggressive and that’s all he’s done. When you put a 6/10 defender with a 9/10 creator you got a bloody good full back.
In the Director's Box surrounded by a security detail, FFS. Not exactly Alan Shearer going in the away end with the Toon Army, is it?
No idea. No context around it. You’re right though, shows that Rishi really was a man of the people all along
I like the fact that the crowd are all looking at home with right chops on them. He is utterly oblivious
BREAKING: Rodri is expected to be back for Man City’s League Two campaign opener against Grimsby Town at the start of the 2025/26 season.
Thanks for making my point for me. Apparently that's not good enough for Starmer as he would need 'a significant amount of policing', according to him, in order to be able to sit anywhere other than a donated box. Rishi Sunak didn't. Maybe he's scared of all the rotten fruit he'd be pelted with
No he is saying Sunak is in the directors box at Southampton. That is why Le Tissier is there. In other angles you can also see 5 or 6 protection officers sat near/around Sunak.
He is making my point for me. Sunak is in a seat he presumably paid for himself (because he doesn't claim it in the register) with a sufficient security presence to allow him to be there and not in a paid for corporate box. Starmer could do the same but has chosen not to.
