Got to admit, I was a bit meh about England until the semis. I always support the women's team, and cricket and rugby, but the England team is followed by loads of mongs. So here I am, sitting in my blue Italia 90 shirt (still fits - just), England flags up and even the daughter's Labrador has got an England shirt on. Up here in 'Boro they've had the flags out all tournament, in fairness. Back in York, there was one out in my whole street. Glad we're not going to the beer garden now to watch it as previously planned - ****ing pissed down all weekend. Even the labrador is pissed off with it. 3-2 England aet. PS - Nowhere near as nervous as when we play a CL final.
