anyway that killed the international bullshit for me nicely. this window is the greatest ****ing waste of time ever with nothing in the line bar for 4 sides qualifying for euros. having a lfc game on has cut that ****e out amd we can no look forward to Brighton game.
I started watching at 1-0 and dipped in and out while doing other things. I probably watched about 40 minutes worth and managed to miss every goal. Weird seeing Skrtel with hair; Kuyt looks like he could sign tomorrow and do a decent job for us; Agger too; (not agger do .. ); hope Sven has made some good memories to help carry him forward.
there was one move that was nice in the second half. bit of one touch etc. I have to say Gerrard played about 3 balls thst if he had a 23 year old forward could be sensational but he gave the forwards no chance playing it in yards in front. eriksen sent the team out as 3 at the back and had two wide so stretch the game and ajax were goosed. kuyt was great. torres quite odd. biscan did a lot lot better than sissoko who couldn't move at all.
Great game for reminiscing. Biscan still has that look that he's really asleep and sleep walking his way around, although some of his play is very understated. Gerrard, for some reason, forgot we had a right wing as well as a left.
think you could have stopped after Southgate tbh bit it has to be said there aren't that many good English defenders atm .
