I think they should start with a 50 point fine for obstruction, apply it right now this season. once they apply then then they should go charge by charge. this is a private club for want of a better description of the 20 clubs so if one wants to do that they can be dealt with. Again it won't matter one jot to city as this season a 70point deduction might not relegate them.
Simple and effective. The punishments should be dished out upfront and the clubs should be falling over themselves to get a speedy resolution to remove the punishment. Provisional 50 points deduction, to be applied in May if case is not resolved before then. Over to you city. .

Forest denied an obvious pen against Everton. I just don’t get what var watch when they look at it. Guys pulled him back twice then grabbed his shirt as he’s ahead of him and pulled him over. So inconsistent and they really don’t know what to do with pulling and holding from corners.
Problem yet again with this ‘clear obvious error’ stuff for that forest pen. Saying wasn’t enough contact to overturn ref decision. I mean that’s wrong anyway as he pulls him down with a handful of shirt. But do we even know the ref saw it and could make a decision? I get sometimes when there’s a twckle and it’s 50-50 and refs decided on field it’s no pen. but this is a crowded box and even though assume ref has a great view, so much going on that it’s possible he hasn’t actually seen it. That stuff just needs to be taken out of the refs hands and be told, look there’s a clear shirt pull on a guy from a defender who has no interest to play the ball as he starts facing the wrong way. It’s where refs who haven’t played the game don’t get those small details, at some point surely they’re going to get rid of this clear and obvious error **** and just let the var make the decision and say was it right or wrong.
