I think racing is different as you can remove 1 person and know second place would have won so reallocate medals. not sure can do that with team sports over league season. I think if it’s proven then strip the titles and leave big blank space and you’d have to have massive serious repercussions. Points deductions, transfer bans and huge huge fines. Talking 100m fine or a % of all prize money earned during that time.

Obviously you can. Don't know what you mean by over a season. Why should that matter? There's a league table, take out the 'winner' and second place tops the table. I don't think anyone has suggested reallocating the titles, just stripping those won unfairly.

Because who’s to say the team in 3rd don’t win the title if you remove the team in first? What if there’s 3 points separating top 3 but 3rd lost to 1st twice. Do you give them the 6 points and say they finish above team in 2nd? It’s a lot easier in 100m m race as one runner doesn’t really impact another so you can pass the medal down which is what they do. Don’t see how you can do that in football
What?? You're talking about it like it's a hypothetical but it isn't. The seasons and league winners in this case actually exist. Which of the seasons in question were the 3rd placed team separated from the top by 3 points? You're trying to make something complicated which is very easy. You take away the titles city 'won' - end of story. Nobody else is affected at all. Nobody needs or would be looking for any compensation. You get the list of relevant seasons, take out an eraser and rub out city's name. The end.

Over a 38 game season you don’t know if the team that finished 2nd would have finished 2nd if you remove the team that finish 1st. Because results may have all been different. So my point is, which is what you seem to be agreeing with despite arguing with me, that you can strip the titles, but you can’t redistribute them to other clubs.
