https://www.thisisanfield.com/2023/...rson-quote-from-walls-of-axa-training-centre/ proper order. I'm not a fan of current (at the time of attaching to the wall) players being so lauded round a training centre anyway. there shouldn't be an image or quote anywhere of the money hungry players imo. inspiration should be taken from iconic past or from alternative sports or endeavours
I see the injury misery is racking up. man utd now lose martinez for months and chilwell has a "bad hamstring injury" both clubs had near disastrous records according to their managers and it always seems to follow that when you are on a bad run of injuries more misery comes your way.
It does say in the article that they change the pictures and quotes regularly. There are plenty of older established quotes around the place eg Shankly. Nothing wrong with up to date stuff. Have to say I am pleased they've taken the Henderson one down and replaced it with a picture and quote from a current player. There are other significant ones around including Henderson lifting the PL trophy and let's be honest, you can't change history or whitewash him out of that.
As far as I'm aware Hendo hasn't committed a crime. He isn't being expunged from the club's history, and nor should he be - he's been a major contributor to the most successful period of our recent history. He made a move which some of us - myself included - didn't approve of, but it's done now and that's all there is to it, imo.
So TH basically saying everything that Klopp said last year Pep basically saying everything that Klopp said last year But only one is deemed a moaner lmao
Maybe because this year the players had very little break due to the poor timing of the WC leading to an extended season where as last year Klopp had no reason to moan other than you were ****.
FFS you call Pep when you have Klopp The grass was too long, the wind was blowing through the open corner of the ground, the rain made the pitch slippy
Why? If he moans, he moans - I didn't invent it. He's always moaning about something to make his cushy job seem more difficult.
Pep moans tactically He always moans at the start of the season He has moaned 5 times already this season and laid hands on a ref - it’s almost as though he is planting seeds He also moans when he loses - which doesn’t happen often which is why it appears he doesn’t moan. Every so often he won’t moan in a loss in a cup and compliment the opposition (Klopp has been known to do this too) They learnt from the master of that **** I think as for your World Cup comment and gap Diego maybe think before you speak - or check the other ‘gaps’ You have missed the point of the comment sort of - have you given any credence to the fact that Klopp and TH are both actually right ? when Klopp ‘moans’ he is usually onto something - the main odd one being the wind - and I am not sure it was a moan rather than an explanation as to why we struggled. That said People regularly refer to grass as a leveller or the wind as a leveller or the rain as a leveller when you actually play football Personally I think you just come across as a bit sensitive or trying to garner a reaction not sure which . Ftr I don’t have any major beef with a manager moaning Mine, yours, anyone’s I was merely pointing out the difference in press coverage - that was all
some folk need to take a look in the mirror and see they are just ultra defensive of their own amd no matter who stupid or silly something is it gets defended. pep gaurdiola is a whinging bitch. always was always will be. he is also the manager who manages his squad best if you actually look at the minutes per player.even winning a treble. tin hat is clearly a poor squad manager and a poor man manager. he's overplayed his squad and blown up in the run in last year and it's not got any better since injuries and poor decisions are piling up the misery. when things are good klopp always looks the hero as well but he's got a ferocious temper that snaps and he turns from mr nice guy to a nasty **** and then back in short order. klopp is also guilty of the exact same overplaying of core players over time and puts too many minutes into certain key players. like refusing point blanks to play the two **** cbs he did have until all his cms were injured and then suddenly finding they were not awful and going on an 11 match unbeaten run. arteta has learned little man management or player management off pep. he's gone out of his way to lick ramsdales balls after playing him in the league cup post dropping and he will drop him again. he's not been honest with the player nor the fans but his actions will be all they need. arteta over played his squad badly last year and he didn't manage the resources he had enough. he's going to pay for it now.
