I don't see him leaving in January. Next summer, who knows. The one thing I'm pretty certain of is that the Saudis will want him this year, next year, the year after.... he will always be their top choice. It all depends on Salah's resolve. I say he's far too trophy/record motivated to go there just yet. Look what's happened to the Ronaldo/ Messi rivalry since he went there. It's over.
fresh from accusing LFC of making excuses by blaming fatigue for lat year not the discerning man utd fan is blaming.... well fatigue for thier players poor start to the season. Yes its true, what was an excuse last year is a logical and sound reason this year. Obviously it was all klopps fault for overplaying certina players last season and injuries are no excuse but apparently Ten Haag can be forgiven and its nothing to do with him. Casemiro played 3903 minutes of football for man utd last season. Its nothing to do with the fact he could barely run at the best of times but he must be tired.... mustn't he? Its not down to ten hag not buying cover either apparently. Mount is ace don't you know. Fernandes played 5164minutes. Of course they needed mount to rest him. He's only played all 5 games so far so ttats gone well.
According to Michail Antonio West Ham will finish above Liverpool this season. This is a tough call, Liverpool v West Ham is on Sunday. It would been better if Michail Antonio has not counted his chickens before they're hatched.
Funnily enough we don't actually care what a rotund flop think about a game that is not our next one. They will be lucky to be top half and their new challenge will shock them a bit. Not every team in europa is at the standard they met last year. they have an easier group but still not that easy for them. Its a amazing how cocky some fools get with a little bit of a start in the season. Their only real result was beating brighton. beating the shambles that is cheslea at home is a so what. beating luton is so what. they drew with bournemouth and lost to city. If i were them i'd be far more worried about playing us and giving us ammo. ESP travelling up to the road to park the moye bus at anfield as per.
Michail Antonio's statement has made the game away to Liverpool a charged one. I hope he eats his words.
Just a small question But did anyone see the foster sending off last night ? not disputing the red card however every single person that I have heard has stated words along the line of He was being clearly held and he has just thrown his elbow which to me is exactly what has happened but surely if he was being held ‘clearly’ - the word that was being bandied around - the correct decision was a red - and a pen to Burnley ?
Clear red card. Being held is a bit misleading as was just standing in middle of box no where near the ball. Wasn’t like was being held back from getting to the ball, was just doing what all defenders do where our arms either side of the player to keep them within touching distance. If anyone ever gave a pen for that you’d be stripped of your refereeing license imo
The red is for violent conduct, not for a foul per se. Holding goes on all the time in such situations - it's up to the ref to decide when it's enough to warrant a free kick or a pen. We're then back to the same old argument about subjectivity, and could go round the house once again, but the elbow is a red all day by the current rules.
Yeah - no worries Wasn’t arguing the red card at all - defo red Just kept hearing the talk and thought it was odd that if he was being held back then surely it was a pen can’t find any replay of the incident and I was listening more than watching I think it was one of the post match pundits who was saying that he was clearly being held just thought it was odd choice of words by more than a few people discussing it
