it wouldn't make any difference to a red faced roma fan who's hopping mad? I just do not understand how a ref is walking unescorted through an airport full of fans after a final. I really don't. you'd not let a ref walk down Wembley way tomorrow when city trounce utd, no matter that they did or didn't do.
13 booking suggests didn’t let them get away with it. He booked someone for diving in the box.. Horrible game to ref. Books a few players early, then a couple get sent off and suddenly games a farce. Heated atmosphere and game, have to try manage it as best you can and just make sure get the big decisions right which is what he did
For me he brought it on himself like he always does Just to clarify Imho no ref should have to put up with anything off the pitch like that That is disgusting behaviour but Taylor’s problem - is and always has been his lack of any sort of consistency I have said it loads of times but I would really not enjoy playing a game he refs he tries to let the game flow but just becomes massively inconsistent as a player you don’t know where you are with him as for the 13 cards To me that suggests he didn’t give someone a red I have made some terrible terrible decisions reffing games however my better games have always when I have been consistent and explained to the players where my lines are - and when someone has crossed that line I have penalised them atmosphere or not he has a team around him who can help but that is just my take on it
Everton supposedly looking to sign Tammy Abraham for £27m. Could actually be a good signing if they can pull it off (and afford it).
can't see why Abraham would sign for Everton particularly early in the window as wouldn't be surprised more attractive propositions will be offered to him
David Coote is either the most incompetent or the most corrupt official in the game - or maybe both. Some epitaph in England, where the benchmark of both titles is astronomically high.
Coote is absolute pants, always has been. Casemiro gets the free kick when he should have had a card, and the card for Wan-Bissaka was harsh. I can see how Tierney could get the Casemiro one wrong in real time, but it's meant to be the point of VAR to overturn those decisions. I don't know what to say about the pen, tbh. Bad refereeing - no bias, just incompetence.
Poor Opposition Aside from that, this is what happens when you allow 1 team to get so far ahead of the rest, City don't need to be at their best to win games and if they get in front the can cruise parts of the game and then turn it up again if they need too. City are the new Celtic. Domination destroys competition and interest (and I don't just means the fans)
Taylor was ****. he is always ****. that's irrelevant 2 days later as we moved on to discussing what came out the following day.
Some twat United fan arrested at Wembley for wearing a United shirt with not enough 97 on the back Think punishment should be that he is made to wear it to Anfield next season and see what happens to him
no. we want nobody in trouble over filth like that. let the met deal with him should get 3 months in nick. no less. the shop that did it for him should be extracted from him for 30 days less and they should be fined 10k
